Harry says ~

MY NAME IS HARRY COOPER FROM OXFORD, AL.
I MAKE GRAY MODEL KITS AND ENGINES.
IN MY PERSONAL ENGINE COLLECTION I HAVE (2) GRAYS .
ONE IS A SIX HP., AND THE OTHER IS A 12 HP.,
(WEIGHS ABOUT 2500 LBS) IN BEAUTIFUL CONDITION.
I USE IT TO PULL A 30" CAST IRON MEADOWS GRIST MILL .
I BOUGHT THE 12 HP FROM JERRY TOEWS IN GOSSEL, KS. ABOUT 20 YRS AGO,
AND RESTORED IT COMPLETELY. AS YOU PROBABLY KNOW IT IS COMPLETELY
DIFFERENT FROM ANY OTHER GRAY, AS A MATTER OF FACT I DON'T THINK I HAVE EVER
SEEN ANY TWO GRAYS THAT WERE ALIKE. USUALLY THEY HAVE A DIFFERENT GOVERNOR,
HEAD, SPLASH GUARD, OR METHOD OF BOLTING CYLINDER TO BASE.
HOWEVER THEY ARE ONE OF MY FAVORITE ENGINES ALONG WITH HEADLESS WITTES.
THANKS,
HARRY R COOPER
